It's full of nutrition and will definitely fill your tummy. So make sure you cook Palak Rice for your next meal. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />- 300gms (1 1/2 cup ) Basmati Rice <br />- 500 ml (2 cups) Water <br />- 2tbsp of Ghee <br />- 4 -5 Cloves <br />- 2- 3 pieces of cinnamon <br />- 1 Bay Leaf ( Tej Patta ) <br />- Green cardamom pods <br />- Some Freshly crushed Black Pepper <br />- 1tbsp of Coriander Powder <br />- 2 Cups of Finely chopped Spinach <br />- 1 1/2 tsp of Salt <br />- Juice of 1 Lime <br /> <br />Method: <br />- Soak Basmati Rice in water for 15- 20 minutes, later drain the water from the rice. <br />- Pour water in pan and allow it to become hot. <br />- In a pan add ghee to which add cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf, cardamom pods and some freshly crushed black pepper and stir the mixture well <br />- Stir in the rice in the mixture and add coriander powder and saute the mixture <br />- Add spinach to the rice and keep the mixture stirring <br />- Pour the hot water into the rice pan, add salt and juice of Lime and stir it and cover the lid for 15 minutes or until the rice is done <br /> <br />Host: Anushruti RK ( http://www.divinetaste.com ) <br />Director: Suchandra Basu <br />Camera: Kawaldeep Singh Jangwal, Manjeet Katariya, Akshay Durgule <br />Editing: Kishor Rai <br />Creative Head: Kavya Krishnaswamy <br />Producer: Rajjat A.
